Recently, the "Gathering Core Energy, Starting a New Journey in the Sky" Unicorn and Gazelle Industry Empowerment Launch Conference (Core and Sky Special Session), guided by the Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Nanjing Development and Reform Commission, and hosted by the Jiangsu Unicorn Gazelle Enterprise Alliance, was successfully held in the Jiangbei New Area of Nanjing. Dr. Huang Qiang, CEO of Cando, attended this high-end industry summit as a representative of frontier new energy technology enterprises and delivered a keynote speech. He deeply introduced the company's core innovative achievement—Solar Cloth (Cano Solar Cloth)—to government and enterprise leaders and industry peers, explaining how new photovoltaic materials solve the pain points of full-area power supply in the low-altitude economy, providing a green energy foundational solution for the "Core and Sky Dual-Drive" industrial layout in Jiangbei New Area.

This grand event focused on the two major strategic emerging industries in Nanjing: integrated circuits and the low-altitude economy. It gathered more than fifty leading enterprises, unicorns, and specialized and innovative enterprises including Aviation Industry Corporation, Jiangsu Aviation Industry Group, and Guobo Electronics. By integrating the four industrial chains, it activated new quality productivity and opened new paths for the coordinated development of "core" chip computing power and "space" scenarios.

"Wherever sunlight shines, there is energy" is Cando's corporate vision. With this simple expectation, Cando began laying out a lightweight photovoltaic product system. The lightweight rigid module, as a benchmark front-end product in the company's deep cultivation of the lightweight photovoltaic track, holds crucial foundational significance. Targeting low-load and irregular installation scenarios, the lightweight rigid module first broke through the industry's pain points of traditional photovoltaic products being heavy, rigid, and poorly adaptable. Anchored on the core characteristics of lightweight, high adaptability, and high reliability, it established the product development foundation and technical philosophy of the company's "light photovoltaic" concept. Currently, the lightweight rigid module has served well-known enterprises such as State Power Investment Corporation, China Power Construction, China Resources Gas, Zhongtian Steel, Baowu Steel, Muyuan Foods, and Star Charge, with scenario adaptations covering steel, agriculture and animal husbandry, mining, chemical, biological, and zero-carbon parks.
The highly anticipated Solar Cloth promoted this time is, to a certain extent, a continuation and sublimation of the technological iteration and scenario upgrade of the lightweight rigid module. Both belong to Cando's differentiated product matrix under the "light" core concept, complementing each other and progressing step by step, comprehensively covering lightweight green power supply needs for different scenarios and carriers.
Cando's flexible Solar Cloth defines a new photovoltaic paradigm for the low-altitude economy:
Extremely lightweight, thin, and flexible. Perfectly adaptable to aviation carriers, capable of arbitrary bending and conformal adhesion, it can be directly laid on drone bodies, airship envelopes, eVTOL fuselages, and LEO low-orbit satellite solar wings, thoroughly solving the adaptation problem of irregular installations.
Weight reduction and efficiency enhancement, improving the effective payload of aircraft. Compared with traditional photovoltaic panels, the weight is significantly reduced. Without occupying payload space, it continuously self-supplies power to onboard equipment and computing chips, significantly extending the endurance of drones for inspection, logistics transportation, and high-altitude airship station-keeping.
High weather resistance and stability. Meets the harsh conditions of high altitude with resistance to low temperatures, high-altitude ultraviolet rays, and minor impacts. It can adapt to stratospheric floating platforms and near-earth orbit space environments, catering to both ground low-altitude applications and aerospace-grade space energy needs.
Core and sky linkage, opening the "power generation — energy storage — computing power" closed loop. Solar Cloth's self-generated power can directly supply onboard integrated circuit modules, flight control chips, and communication modules continuously, achieving deep coupling between new energy power generation and semiconductor computing hardware.

This trip to Nanjing is not only an authoritative debut of Cando's frontier photovoltaic technology on the stage of strategic emerging industries but also an important opportunity for the company to deeply connect with the integrated circuit and low-altitude economy industrial clusters in Nanjing Jiangbei New Area. In the future, Cando will continue to rely on its core photovoltaic material R&D capabilities, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation and project collaboration with aerospace enterprises and semiconductor industry chain companies, and promote the demonstration and application of Solar Cloth in scenarios such as drone swarms, commercial satellites, and low-altitude manned aircraft, empowering the high-quality and large-scale development of the low-altitude economy with green photovoltaic hard technology.
