The origin of Cando's scenario innovation: "Pain" where the customer feels "pain."
Release time:
Feb 06,2026
In the second half of the photovoltaic industry, competition has long since moved beyond mere comparisons of product specifications and costs, entering a new era defined by "scenario-driven victory." At the beginning of 2024, Dr. Huang Qiang, founder of Cando, officially introduced the core concept of "scenario transformation" at a public industry event, breaking away from the industry's traditional focus on "cost plus efficiency" and firmly anchoring innovation at the "customers' pain points." The debut of Cando's lightweight and rigid modules fired the first shot in this "scenario transformation," and today, innovation continues unabated!
Dr. Huang Qiang called for a shift in scenarios in his public speech.
Anchor on pain points: Only by truly understanding customers can we deliver effective innovation. With years of deep expertise in the photovoltaic sector, as a provincial “specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative” enterprise and a national high-tech enterprise, Cando fully understands that customers from different industries and with varying application scenarios face entirely distinct pain points: Old factory buildings and green buildings struggle to strike a delicate balance between green safety and reinforcement costs; regions with cold climates and frequent snowfall worry whether PV systems can withstand prolonged low temperatures and heavy snow accumulation; steel, smelting, and coal enterprises are concerned about whether power plants can endure pervasive dust and sustained high temperatures; and uniquely shaped buildings grapple with finding a “green PV coating” that perfectly matches their unconventional designs... “Scenario-driven transformation” is not just a slogan—it’s Cando’s “solution to pain points,” born from our deep engagement with the market and attentive listening to our customers’ voices. It’s also our steadfast commitment to creating long-term value for our clients.

Break the impasse and take action: Every innovation directly addresses customers’ pain points. Previously, a Japanese customer urgently needed a lightweight photovoltaic solution that could not only meet lightweight requirements but also withstand a snow load of 2.5 meters, while also being perfectly compatible with their specific installation method. The Cando sales team immediately identified the customer’s pain points, quickly coordinated internal resources, and initiated a technical assessment. The R&D and systems teams raced against time to carry out structural simulations and validations. In just 14 days, three different设计方案 were developed, with frequent online meetings held in real time to keep everyone updated on progress and provide expert answers to every technical question, smoothly resolving the customer’s “exclusive pain points.” This experience has also laid a solid technological foundation for Cando to tackle challenges in high-altitude and high-latitude regions.

Value Co-creation: Scenario Innovation Goes Beyond Just Solving Pain Points. Cando’s “scenario transformation” is not merely about innovating a single product; rather, it centers on addressing customers’ pain points and building a comprehensive, all-scenario value system that integrates “products + solutions + services.” The origin of Cando’s patented “wind-resistant hook” was to meet the ultra-high reliability demands of state-owned and central enterprises. However, this patent not only solves the challenge of extreme reliability but also offers convenience in subsequent operations, maintenance, and replacement, further reducing customers’ long-term usage costs. Subsequently, this installation solution has also gained popularity among biotechnology companies that place extremely high demands on production continuity and stability. Creating value for customers means not only addressing their immediate pain points but also helping them achieve long-term benefits.
The scene of the Cando Ecological Collaborative Innovation Conference
Since the introduction of the “Scenario Transformation” concept at the beginning of 2024, every step Cando has taken has been underpinned by the trust and support of our customers, and each innovative achievement reflects our original aspiration to "share customers' pain points." Recently, Cando held an Ecosystem Collaborative Innovation Conference, inviting supplier partners to engage more deeply in "scenario innovation" and jointly build a world-class photovoltaic supply chain ecosystem characterized by "innovation-driven, cost leadership, and resilience and reliability." We take customer satisfaction as the sole benchmark for our work, ensuring that photovoltaic solutions truly integrate into diverse scenarios and enabling customers to reap tangible benefits from the green energy transition.
Scene innovation knows no bounds, and customer needs are endless. Cando will continue to take “customer pain points” as the starting point for innovation, deepen the concept of “scene transformation,” and, leveraging its profound technological expertise and comprehensive service system, consistently launch scenario-based products and solutions that better meet customer needs, address more industry pain points, and explore cutting-edge fields such as aerospace photovoltaics. We aim to create greater value for our customers, turning every ray of sunlight into their income and hope. Through scene innovation, we’ll empower every customer on their journey toward green development!
